APComm is introducing a new mentoring scheme designed to support police communicators particularly those who are new to policing or have moved into a new post. The aim is to use the extensive experience that exists among members and bring people together to assist learning and development.
Mentees must be APComm members and have a specific development requirement or be in a new, changed or expanded role.
Mentors should be:
- experienced police communicators
- have detailed knowledge of police communications
- have good communication and interpersonal skills
- be able to provide mentees with a minimum of an hour a month for six months
If you think you have skills that mean you would be a good mentor or would like to be a mentee then fill in the forms and return to email@example.com to allow the matching process to take place. For the first phase of the scheme forms need to be returned by Friday 28 August.
