APComm website launch
The Association of Police Communicators (APComm) has launched a new website this month (November) – www.apcomm.org.uk.
Members can use the website to share information, knowledge and best practice as well as find out more about how APComm is run.
APComm Co-Chair Kate Quilley said: “We are delighted to have our new-look website up and running. APComm is all about networking and sharing best practice and this site helps us do exactly that.
“Members can share and read useful resources, such as campaign material, communications strategies and guides. They can also view our monthly bulletins, regular news and blogs. There is information about how APComm is run including our purpose, Executive Committee members bios, our elections and yearly business and training plan.”
The website site also includes an events and training calendar, details of the annual APComm Academy, a recommended suppliers directory and contact details.
For those not yet members, there is information about who can join APComm and the benefits of doing so.
Before the launch of the new APComm website, APComm consulted with members to find out what they would like to see on the site.
