Welcome to
The Association of Police Communicators

A very warm welcome to the digital hub for the Association of Police Communicators (APComm), your professional communications network.

It gives us great pleasure to proudly lead APComm, a long-standing membership group that supports anyone who works within a communications team involved in operational policing.

APComm is the voice of police communications across Great Britain and represents the interests of all members. The APComm executive are elected on a two-year cycle from among members, to deliver for members.

While we are committed to the continuous professional development and knowledge sharing of our members, we also focus greatly on well-being, morale and networking to support staff as they deliver in particularly challenging and ever more complex situations.

We are immensely proud of the wonderful network we have and hope you find this digital hub of information, training and opportunities beneficial. If you are a member please remember you can always contribute to it and the more shared, the more valuable a resource it will be.

For anyone new to police communications, thinking of joining or interested in our profession, welcome and we hope you find this a useful tool but please do get in touch if you have any questions.

Kate Quilley and Clare Mills, APComm Co-Chairs
