APComm
Virtual Academy 2026

APComm is pleased to announce it will be hosting its sixth Virtual Academy this May.

The timeline has been published for our Virtual Academy and should have now landed in members' inboxes

The free online week of learning will take from Monday 11 - Friday 15 May

Virtual Academy provides an opportunity for APComm members to attend a whole host of sessions focused on a range of topics relevant for police communicators.

As in previous years we are bringing our members a packed timetable of inputs from within policing, as well as guest speakers, sponsors and more.

We’re really excited about this year’s agenda, which provides a breadth of subjects across all thematic areas of communications.

This year's sessions include inputs on:

  • Media law
  • The importance of delivering effective change communications
  • How to create engaging internal comms campaigns
  • Resilience in a high pressured environment
  • A whole range of recent, newsworthy operational case studies

The event is hosted on MS Teams and provides an accessible online option, with the ability to dip in and out of learning sessions and tailor learning around the working day demands.
