The APComm mentoring scheme provides an opportunity for members of the Association to receive one-to-one developmental support from fellow police / PCC communicators.
While our mentors may not have undertaken formal mentorship training, they have the skills and experience to support mentees.
There are many benefits to having a mentor, including guidance on career development, receiving advice on a range of job related skills, helping to build self-confidence or receiving support through challenging situations.
If you are interested in being involved in the scheme as a mentor or mentee please email helen.wilson@surrey.pnn.police.uk.
Previous courses include media and social media law training, security-minded communication, NEP roadshows and week of virtual learning March 2021 in lieu of APComm Academy due to coronavirus restrictions. Details published in monthly bulletins which are available to read in the Hub.
