We are offering you a free day of virtual media law training on Thursday, 30 January 2025, which will cover an introduction to media law for those new to policing or wanting a brush up on the basics, followed by an advanced session to build upon what you have learned in the morning.
The day will be held online via a Teams webinar, led by the highly regarded legal expert, Amanda Ball, who lectures in Media Law at Nottingham Trent University.
Media law training is always popular and a full of valuable learning, and this virtual event gives you a great opportunity to engage directly with your communications colleagues and Amanda’s training.
We’re keen to make sure that this training covers off the areas which you will find most useful; Amanda will bring her expertise with a well-planned day of training, but we’re also asking you to get in touch with her directly if there are any specific topics you want to focus on, or any questions which may have challenged your team in recent months. She can be contacted on amandajball17@gmail.com.
The sessions will not be recorded.
