Have you submitted your application for APComm Vice Chair? Nomination window extended for one week.
Dear all,
There is still time to put yourself forward for an APComm Vice Chair position. Due to half term, we have extended the window for applications by one week - now closing end of day Monday 2 November.
APComm is the voice of police communications across Great Britain, supporting members through professional development, knowledge sharing, networking and wellbeing. The Vice Chairs play a vital role in delivering this work, helping to shape the future of our profession while supporting colleagues nationally.
Without a strong executive team, APComm would not be able to continue delivering many of the benefits members value, including our annual Academy, Virtual Academy, Lunch and Learns, media law workshops, networking opportunities and wellbeing initiatives.
You do not need to be a Head of Communications to apply. If you're an APComm member with enthusiasm, commitment and ideas about how we can support police communicators, we'd love to hear from you.
To stand, you'll need to submit a vision statement of no more than 400 words, a head-and-shoulders photo and seek permission from your line manager and Chief Constable.
Applications should be submitted to APComm Secretary Tara Dundon by end of day Monday 2 November – you can read more about the process on our website.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a national perspective, work with colleagues across policing and partners, and help shape the future of police communications.
Don't leave it until the last minute - if you've been considering applying, now is the time. Good luck!
